To maximize the functionality and customization of Digital HR, it's important to configure the settings according to your organization's needs. This section provides detailed guidance on the different settings available, including roles and permissions, general settings, and app settings.

1. Roles and Permissions Setting

Roles and permissions control access to various features and data within Digital HR. Setting these correctly ensures that employees have the appropriate level of access based on their responsibilities.

  • Add Role:

    • Navigate to the "Settings" section and select "Roles and Permissions."

    • Click "Add Role."

    • Enter the role name (e.g., HR Manager, Payroll Specialist).

  • Assign Permissions:

    • Define what features and data the role can access.

    • Customize permissions for viewing, editing, creating, and deleting information.

    • Save the role and assign it to employees as needed.

2. General Settings

General settings allow you to configure key parameters that affect the overall functionality of the Web Application. It consists of 4 tabs to setup key features of the app

  • General Setting

    • Employee Code Prefix

    • Attendance Limit - No of attendance a user can perform per day/shift

    • Records Per Page - No of records to be shown on each listing page

    • Bonus Applicable After Month(s)

  • Time Format

    • 24 hour format switch

  • Attendance Setting

    • Allow attendance function in dashboard

    • Enable camera while taking attendance (Used in front desk checkin/checkout)

  • Currency Setting

    • Currency setup - used for payroll

  • Time Zone

    • Set time zone for the application

  1. Notification Log: Enable or disable the logging of notifications sent to users, which can help in auditing and troubleshooting.

  2. Fiscal Year Set Fiscal start and end point at the start of each fiscal year. Necessary for Payroll Calculation
