Steps to Create an Employee ID Card Template
Select Card Orientation
Choose either Landscape (85.6 × 54 mm) or Portrait (54 × 85.6 mm) based on how you want the ID card to appear.
Enter Template Name
Provide a meaningful name for the template (e.g., Standard Employee ID Card 2025) to easily identify it later.
Choose Background Color
Enable and select the Background Color (Both Sides) if you want a uniform background color on the front and back of the card.
Front Side Configuration
The front side will always display:
Employee Photo
Full Name
Designation
These fields are fixed and shown by default.
Add Extra Fields on Front
From Extra Fields on Front, select up to 4 additional fields (e.g., Employee ID, Department, Blood Group, Contact Number).
Assign each field to Position 1–4 in the desired display order.
Configure QR Code / Barcode
Choose whether the card should include:
QR Code
Barcode
Or None
This can be used for scanning employee details or attendance.
Upload Front Logo
Upload the company logo to be displayed on the front side of the card.
Back Side Setup
Enter a Back Title (e.g., Terms & Conditions or Important Information).
Add Back Content, such as company policies, emergency contacts, or usage instructions.
Upload Back Logo (Optional)
Upload an additional logo if required on the back side.
Add Authorized Signature (Optional)
Upload an authorized signatory’s signature for official validation of the ID card.
Enter Footer Text
Add footer details such as company website, helpline number, or emergency contact (e.g., www.yourcompany.com | Emergency: 999).
Save Template
Click Save to store the template.
The saved template can now be used to generate employee ID cards instantly. The generated card can be viewed by the employees via their mobile app.
