Force Logout
The Force Logout feature in Digital HR is a crucial tool for maintaining account security and managing device changes. This feature allows admins to forcibly log out a user from the application, which is particularly useful if an employee needs to change devices or has lost their mobile device. This ensures that employees can log back into their account securely.
Steps to Use the Force Logout Feature
Navigate to Employee Management:
From the main dashboard, go to the "Employee Management" section and click on Employees.
Locate the Employee:
Use the search bar or filters to find the employee who needs to be forcibly logged out.
Access the Action Menu:
Next to the employee’s name, you will find an action icon.
Force Logout:
Click on the Action Icon:
Find the employee you want to forcefully log out and click on the action icon next to their name.
Select Force Logout:
Choose the "Force Logout" option from the dropdown menu.
Confirm the Action:
A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the action to proceed with the force logout.
Inform the Employee:
After the force logout is successful, inform the employee so they can attempt to log in again from their new device or once they recover their device.
When to Use the Force Logout Feature
Device Change: When an employee needs to switch to a new device and cannot successfully log out from the previous device.
Lost Device: When an employee loses their mobile device, ensuring the account is secure by logging them out from the lost device.
