Events
You can now create events directly from DHRS and send notifications to relevant users. Events are displayed in a calendar view on the backend, making it easy to track and manage upcoming activities.
How to Create an Event
Navigate to the Event Module
Click on the newly added "Event" menu.
View the Event Calendar
The main page displays a calendar view with visual markers indicating scheduled events.
A detailed event listing is shown on the right-hand side for quick reference.
Create a New Event
Click on "Create Event."
Fill in the following mandatory fields:
Event Title – Name of the event.
Event Host – The person or team organizing the event.
Event Location – Venue or platform where the event will take place.
Event Start & End Date – Define the event duration.
Start & End Time – Specify the exact time the event will begin and conclude.
Department(s) – Select the department(s) for which the event is intended.
Employees – Choose specific employees who should be notified about the event.
Event Description – Provide details about the event.
Add Optional Details (if needed)
Attachments – Upload relevant documents, images, or files.
Background Color – Choose a color to visually distinguish the event in the calendar.
Save the Event
Click "Save" to finalize and publish the event.
Notifications will be sent to the selected employees.
With this feature, event management is more streamlined, ensuring better communication and organization within your team.
