Leave Quota

In DigitalHR, leave quota management offers advanced flexibility to tailor leave allocations to individual employee needs while ensuring overall adherence to company policies. Admins have the capability to set quotas for specific employees and override previously defined leave types to accommodate unique situations. Here’s how it works:
Setting Employee Leave Quotas
Employee Profile Quotas:
Admins set leave quotas for individual employees in their profiles. For example, an employee may have a profile quota of 10 days of leave.
Leave Type Allocations:
When creating leave types, admins specify the allocated number of days for each type. For instance, sick leave may have a standard allocation of 12 days.
Admin Override Capability
Quota Adjustment for Specific Employees:
Admins can override quotas for specific employees as needed. For example, they may adjust an employee's sick leave quota from the standard 12 days to 10 days to align with their profile quota.
Leave Type Allocation Adjustment:
Admins have the flexibility to redistribute allocated days across leave types for individual employees. For example, they may allocate 5 days of sick leave and allocate the remaining 5 days to another leave type to accommodate specific employee needs.
Matching Profile and Leave Type Quotas
Profile Quota and Leave Type Quota Consistency:
The total number of days defined in an employee's profile quota should match the total allocated across all leave types. This ensures consistency and clarity in leave allocation for each employee.
