Time Leave

The Time Leave feature in Digital HR allows employees to request adjustments to their designated shift times, such as arriving late or leaving early. This flexibility helps accommodate personal commitments while maintaining accurate attendance records. Here’s how employees can request time leave and how it is managed.

Requesting Time Leave

  1. Navigate to Time Leave Request:

    • Employees can request time leave from the mobile app.

    • Employees has the options between:

      • Late Check-In and Early Check-Out

      • Late Check-In Only

      • Early Check-Out Only

  2. Fill in the Time Details:

    • Late Check-In and Early Check-Out:

      • Enter both the start time (late check-in) and end time (early check-out).

    • Late Check-In Only:

      • Enter the start time.

    • Early Check-Out Only:

      • Enter the end time.

  3. Submit the Request:

    • Once the details are filled in, employees can submit the time leave request for approval.

Managing Time Leave Requests

  1. Navigate to Time Leave Requests:

    • From the main dashboard, go to the "Leave" menu.

    • Select "Time Leave Requests."

  2. Review the Request:

    • View the details of the requested time leave, including the start and end times.

    • Employees must provide a reason for the request, which can be viewed by clicking on the eye icon next to the request.

  3. Approve or Reject the Request:

    • Approve Request:

      • Click the "Approve" button. The system will automatically adjust the check-out time to the requested time.

        • For example, if the requested check-out time is 4 PM and the employee checks out at 4:30 PM, the system will set the check-out time to 4 PM.

      • The system automatically checks out the employee at the approved time.

    • Reject Request:

      • Click the "Reject" button. Provide a reason for the rejection if necessary and confirm the action.

Unpaid Leave

  • Unpaid Leave:

    • All time leave is currently considered unpaid leave. This means that the time adjustments will not be compensated.
